We collect information you voluntarily provide when placing a platform order or contacting us: name, email address, company name, phone number, and project requirements. We do not collect payment information directly — all transactions are handled by certified third-party payment processors.

To process platform orders and deliver services. To communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the UAE and/or the EEA. We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls. Data retained for a maximum of 7 years per UAE commercial law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact: privacy@spotlightdubai.com. Requests processed within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

Our website may use Google Fonts, analytics tools, and email services with their own privacy policies.

Khurram's Lab builds bespoke AI-powered digital platforms. Each is a custom commission defined in a Statement of Work.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders confirmed upon signed Statement of Work and initial deposit. All prices in USD unless stated otherwise.

4. Revisions

Each project includes defined revision rounds per Statement of Work. Additional revisions billed at prevailing rate.

5. Delivery

We commit to timelines in the Statement of Work. Client-caused delays are not our responsibility.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use our services for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the preceding 3 months.

8. Governing Law

Governed by UAE laws. Disputes resolved under UAE court jurisdiction.

Intellectual Property

1. Ownership of Deliverables

Upon full payment, all IP rights in the delivered platform transfer to the client.

2. Studio Portfolio Rights

Khurram's Lab may display completed projects in portfolio unless client requests confidentiality in writing.

3. Proprietary Methodology

Methodologies and workflows remain exclusive IP of Spotlight / Khurram's Lab.

4. Third-Party Components

Some platforms use open-source libraries disclosed in project documentation.

5. Brand & Identity

'Khurram's Lab', 'Spotlight Dubai', logos and content are exclusive property of Spotlight / Khurram Badar.

Refund Policy

1. Deposits

Non-refundable — they secure studio capacity and cover discovery work.

2. Milestone Payments

Non-refundable once milestone deliverable approved (or 5 business days of silence).

3. Cancellation by Client

Fees for completed work payable in full. Remaining balance due within 14 days.

4. Cancellation by Lab

Pro-rata refund of pre-paid fees for undelivered work within 30 days.

5. Disputes

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

1. Applicable Law

Governed exclusively by UAE laws, RAKEZ regulations, and applicable free zone legislation.

2. Jurisdiction

Exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.

3. Alternative Dispute Resolution

Good-faith mediation for 30 days minimum under DIAC rules before legal proceedings.

4. International Users

Operated from UAE. UAE law governs regardless of your location.

5. Severability

Unenforceable provisions modified to minimum extent. All others remain in force.

6. Entire Agreement

These terms plus any signed SOW constitute the entire agreement.
